BSS Add-on for VeriEye SDK

The Biometric Standards Support add-on (BSS Add-on) for VeriEye allows developers to integrate the support for iris image format standards and additional image formats into new and existing biometric systems based on the VeriEye SDK.

The BSS Add-on for VeriEye includes:

• Biometric standard support components for all mentioned standards
• JPEG 2000 support component
• Documentation

The included components can be used from C/C++ and C# applications. The add-on supports platforms based on x86 processor architecture. Libraries for Windows and Linux operating systems are provided. .NET wrappers of Windows libraries are provided for .NET developers.

System requirements

The BSS add-on for VeriEye runs on PCs with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. The system requirements for the BSS add-on are the same as the system requirements for VeriEye SDK.

VeriEye System Requirements

System requirements for VeriEye Matching Server

• PC with x86 compatible CPU (2 GHz processor or better is recommended);
• UDP and TCP network support;
• MySQL, Oracle, SQLite or Microsoft SQL Server (other DB servers require a custom support module to be developed by the integrator);
• Microsoft Windows specific:
  • Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista.
• Linux specific:
  • Linux 2.6 or newer;
  • GCC-4.0.x or newer;
  • pkg-config-0.21 or newer;
  • GNU Make 3.81 or newer;

System requirements for VeriEye Matcher and Extractor components:

• PC or Mac with 2 GHz processor or better;
• Microsoft Windows specific:
  • Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista
• Linux specific:
  • Linux (based on glibc 2.5 or newer)
• Mac OS X specific
  • Mac OS X (version 10.3.9 or newer)
