Tacoma CMOS Scanner
The Tacoma CMOS sensor is a simple optical finger scanning device with 500 dpi resolution and USB connection. This device is suitable for projects which require 1:1 verification such as application login or small scale 1:N identification. This sensor is the lowest cost optical fingerprint scanner available. The image size captured by the optical imager is smaller than average for optical fingerprint readers which reduces the total amount of minutiae captured in each image.
