MegaMatcher 3.0 SDK features 3 times faster fingerprint matching and improved recognition reliability at "high" speed mode. 40,000 fingerprints per second can be achieved on a single PC with Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz and using only one core. Multiple PCs can be connected together into a cluster to increase matching speed. MegaMatcher Accelerators can be considered as backend identification server for the solutions requiring millions or hundred of millions fingerprints per second matching speed.
Drivers for 6 new fingerprint scanners have been added to MegaMatcher 3.0 SDK:
Cross Match Verifier 320;
Cross Match L SCAN Guardian-F;
Futronic FS90;
Suprema SFR300-S;
Suprema SFR300-R;
Suprema BioMini (SFR400).
MegaMatcher Cluster Server and MegaMatcher Node state saving was introduced. This helps faster recover cluster work after node or server failure.
Also, biometric standards support was updated. Added full support of the following standards:
ANSI/NIST-CSL 1-1993 (Data Format for the Interchange of Fingerprint, Facial & SMT Information)
ANSI/NIST-ITL 1a-1997 (Data Format for the Interchange of Fingerprint, Facial & SMT Information)
ANSI/NIST-ITL 1-2000 (Data Format for the Interchange of Fingerprint, Facial, & Scar Mark & Tattoo (SMT) Information)
ANSI/NIST-ITL 1-2007 - Part 1 (Data Format for the Interchange of Fingerprint, Facial, & Other Biometric Information - Part 1)
All components of MegaMatcher 3.0 can be used on both Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.

MegaMatcher 3.0 SDK licensing and prices are the same as MegaMatcher 2.1 SDK. For the existing MegaMatcher SDK customers we are providing free upgrades. Existing MegaMatcher 2.1 licenses will work with MegaMatcher 3.0 SDK.
