Access Control

One of the earliest solutions to incorporate biometric verification – and undoubtedly the most portrayed use of biometrics in Hollywood – biometric Access Control systems allow you to restrict physical access through the use of biometric verification. The most commonly used form of biometric access control of the past was based on hand geometry.  More modern systems have adopted the use of fingerprint recognition/identification for higher speed and accuracy.
