About Fulcrum Biometrics

Fulcrum Biometrics was founded in late 2002 by a group of entrepreneurs led by the company's current President and CEO Mr. Ken Nosker. Prior to founding Fulcrum, Mr. Nosker was with the biometric payments pioneer Indivos Corporation ( PaybyTouch.com) for nearly 3 years where he played a key role in the development, deployment, and management of Pay-by-Touch(SM), the world's first fully biometric based payment system.

 

Fulcrum Biometrics was founded as a biometrics technology consultancy for companies implementing biometric identification systems. The company's original mission was to help clients close the knowledge gap between biometrics technology theory and its practical application.  Due to customer demand and a lack of  knowledgeable suppliers in the biometrics industry Fulcrum later added software technology and hardware distribution to our consultancy practice.  Fulcrum rapidly established itself as a reputable and highly customer focused supplier and  our  domestic and international distribution grew rapidly.  In the early years of the company, Fulcrum continuosuly encountered firms that desired to incorporate biometric technologies into their enterprise or service offerings but were unable to do so for lack of the technical resources.  This lead to Fulcrum establishing our custom software integration and development practice which is now a major pillar of the business.  Fulcrum is now able to offer a full complement of consulting, custom integration and product distribution.

 

In January of 2009 Fulcrum opened its first international sales and distribution office in the city of Gurgaon India. Fulcrum Biometrics India Pvt. Ltd. serves as the regional sales, distribution and support hub for India and surrounding countries.
